Wild Flower Walk in Spring 

Sweet the smell on
spring air
Wild roses simple bloom
Lupine dusty blue
Dandelions bold and brash
Beside the tiny daisy
Early sweet peas shy
and small
At the foot of
Queen Ann’s lace
Water lilies golden globes
While at my feet strawberries
